Introduction to electrostatic precipitator equipment
Electric dust removal equipment is a small classification of various dust removal equipment, distinguished according to the energy consumption used. Point dust removal uses high voltage electricity of up to tens of thousands or even hundreds of thousands of volts to generate a strong electric field, causing gas ionization and decomposition, thereby generating static load electricity for dust of different particle sizes. The electricity is collected by the dust removal equipment, separated in the equipment, and then the dust is removed, which plays a role in dust cleaning and air purification.
Advantages of electrostatic precipitator equipment
1: Low cost, compared to other dust removal equipment, electric dust removal mainly consumes electricity, and the cost of electricity usage is relatively low.
2: High dust removal efficiency, electrostatic precipitator equipment can collect mineral dust below 0.1 microns, and electrostatic precipitator can collect and process various particle sizes of dust in dry environments.
3: The air volume is large, and electrostatic precipitators generate a huge driving force due to the ionization of the charge. Therefore, when collecting dust, the air volume is very large, and generally do not require the use of fans for auxiliary treatment.
4: Low resistance, electrostatic precipitators control the relative pressure drop between 150 and 300 megapascals when processing dust, reducing the loss of resistance during dust absorption.
5: Electric dust removal equipment can collect some corrosive gases and solid dust, thanks to its special structure. During the ionization decomposition process, the chemical elements of various corrosive substances can be changed, so it has basically no limitations in use.
Disadvantages of electrostatic precipitator equipment
1: It occupies a large area, and in the early stage of investing in dust removal equipment, the one-time investment cost is high. The area selection needs to be relatively larger, and due to the high pressure during ionization decomposition, additional space needs to be reserved around it.
2: The hardware requirements are high, and there are strict requirements in manufacturing. At the same time, multiple strong electrical circuits should be reserved during installation, and there are also certain requirements for operation. The wind speed of the electric field should be controlled between 0.4 and 1.5 meters per second. For some highly corrosive materials, special structure dust collectors with good anti-corrosion performance should be selected.
3: Due to the limitation of resistance, there is a corresponding resistance range during normal dust collection in electric dust removal equipment. Sometimes, if this resistance range cannot be reached, it will affect the dust absorption effect.
